On The Same Page

To be honest, one of the reasons that Lester and I are so good for each other is because we are so on the same page with everything. And if were not, we get on the same page real quick. For example, this is our second Valentine's day since we got married. Both times, we thought about it in advance and wanted to do something. But then both times, we both completely forgot the day of. I seriously didn't even realize it was Valentine's Day until I got on I got on Facebook yesterday..that is how bad it was haha.

So I asked Lester if we weird or if there was something wrong with us-all the other couples we know were posting non-stop of pictures of the sweet things they had done for each other, complete with flowers, chocolate and other lovey dovey stuff. I felt weird that when people would ask what we were doing, I would say..oh..were working..and nothing else. After all, it is only our second Valentine's Day together as a married couple. But he said that we live like its Valentine's every day and who cares what they say. True, we aren't all mushy or sickly sweet, but we do go out on dates weekly and go out of our way to do small sweet things for each other. We work with the time we have, regardless of whether it is a holiday or not. So he may not wow me with flowers, but boy sometimes that boy knows exactly what to say!

Anyways, we did end up pulling it out in the end. We decided to rent some movies and do a chocolate fondue in our Little Dipper, then have a sleepover in the living room. It was a super fun, chill Valentine's Day and I couldn't have asked for better. Of course, next year we've decided were going to be more on top of things and do it up live!
