Our Two Year Anniversary

Its funny how time works. It feels like Lester and I just got married yesterday-but at the same time like we've been together forever! But I guess that's just one of the perks of finding your other half early haha. Yesterday marked our two year wedding anniversary, so we took the time to be just the two of us-pretty much for the last time ever without the need of a babysitter-CRAZY!

We slept in and started the day off right with Royal Donuts [can you say chocolate croissant, what?] and then got ready for the day. First, we enjoyed the Japanese Tea Gardens in Golden Gate Park. Simply beautiful. Then, we took our time over at the Conservatory of Flowers enjoying all the incredible plants they have there. Eventually we made our way over to one of our favorite spots, Ghirardelli Square for sundaes. I can admit that everything about their ice cream and what not is average-but we think their hot fudge [especially the dark chocolate one] is unbeatable. Seriously takes things to a whole other level. I think it makes sense why people call SF romantic-when your time is unlimited and you with the person you love it really is just that.

After our day in the city, we went home and changed and headed over to Half Moon Bay to the beautiful Ritz Carlton for dinner. I think at first we felt a little bit out place because it was so nice haha, but once we got our bearings we decided that heaven would be nice if it was like that. Add all the people you love, and you've got the most gorgeous beach grounds and delicious foods and your set. We shared an appetizer, had entrees and shared a dessert and our minds were seriously blown. The food was not only beautifully put together, but delicious and creative-and just the right portions to. We ended the night by walking the grounds and reminiscing about all these last two years have brought us and just enjoying each other. It was the perfect anniversary with the perfect man for me-I loved every second of it! Here is to about a million more of them!
