Showered

No Chio, this post is not about the fact that I have actually showered-although I have did that to haha. This post is actually about the second baby shower that I was lucky enough to have. Talk about being spoiled rotten, huh?

Like I said in this post, in Rexburg I was lucky enough to have some close friend throw me a baby shower with a bunch of my college friends. In coming home, my close friend Mae wanted to throw me one too! So this weekend, all the hard work, time, effort and love she [along with my Mom and Auntie Kathy] put into it came to play! It was AMAZING!

Not only were the decorations immaculate, detailed and adorable [it was a Safari themed shower] but everything else was perfect too! There was a great turnout of people from every part of my life. The food was delicious, and there was a lot of it-lumpia, wings, a large salad bar for lunch- then cupcakes, cheesecake tarts, fruit and soda/water for drinks and dessert. We played some SUPER fun games-from ones where you name the baby animals, a bottle drinking contest [called chugalug], a purse scavenger hunt, and of course, name that baby food. It was just how like I like it-loud, fun, crazy and wonderful. Everyone participated with everything, I got to visit with people I haven't seen in far to long, and I had so much fun. Again, at present time I was overwhelmed both by everyones generosity, but by the cuteness of all things baby girl. At this point, I think her wardrobe is as big/bigger then mine haha!

[Chugalug! We all thought my Auntie had it, but then my cousin came from behind to win it! So fun!]

I seriously can't say enough about how much all this love and support has meant to me-change is still hard and while I'm both nervous and excited for Oklahoma, I know that me and my small family will feel the influence and love of all from all our friends and family. Thank you, thank you, thank you again to all those who came, helped and have loved Lester, me and our baby! We love you all and hope to someday show you even a portion of that help and love in return!

Good luck with the move!! I know from firsthand experience that moving at this stage in the pregnancy is not very fun!
