Right Now

Well, after a several tears on my part, we had a fairly pleasant 14 hour drive on Friday. We made it back to Rexburg at around 7:00 PM..not to shabby if you ask me! We walked straight into our brand empty apartment and immediately had guests-some of our friends who needed a place to stay at the last minute. They were a big help in the whole moving process, which involved lots of trips to storage, heavy lifting and some shopping. But now we are almost completely done with all that, and it is finally starting to feel like a home-we even have our very own couch [I will probably put pics of our new digs another time..].

It truly has been just all unpacking and moving in these past few days, with the occasional random fun thing-like today, I had a dental appointment. That's not fun, you are probably thinking? But remember I have an awesome dentist here in Idaho, and now I even have awesome insurance to cover it! So that was great-and then we were lucky enough to be invited for our friend Brittney's first time going through the temple. Her and Lester's old roommate/close friend Brian are getting married this Saturday in Salt Lake, for which we will be there. We also are already feeling tentatively positive about our ward-in RS, everybody seemed to just genuinely be happy; there was a lot of laughing, fun and spiritual moments so that was good. The building itself is even fun-its really old, and kind of funkily build. For example, the chapel has vaulted ceilings with spots of random wood panelling-but the crazy part is, it was on purpose! HAH! It is great!

So when it comes down to it, we are doing really well. There are moments where I feel extremely overwhelmed with all this change, and really worried for the lack of routine there is in my life right now, but then I look around and realize how incredibly wonderful my life is, and say 'Shame on you Julia!' because I need to appreciate it all more. Which I am going to go to do right now-by giving my husband a fat kiss!
